Through The Cage

John Porter of Through The Cage had the opportunity to sit down and chat with fighter Shurron Thompson. Thompson is a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and currently works as an instructor at the Marine Corps Martial Arts Center of Excellence. Shurron formerly held the middlweight title in local Northern Virginia promotion Operation Octagon. Thompson will be facing Mujahid Ali of Gold Medal Grappling in a Muay Thai Match.

So, I met Danny Farrar at the Danger Zone event in Manassas Park. I was highly impressed with this guy for a few reasons. The first being his bright red mohawk that he rocks, the second was the ink he has and the third and most important was his ability to stay calm and relax in the cage.

After his fight, I talked to him for a brief second, gave him a card and told him to email me so I could let the world know who Danny Farrar was. Here is his interview.
