RIE - MMA Sterling, Virginia– Respect Is Earned (http://www.rie-mma.com/) will present a new event, American Cage Warriors (ACW)”… The Beginning, a Unique all amateur event, on July 30th -31st, at the Dulles Sportsplex in Sterling, Virginia. This event is the beginning of finding the next top MMA fighters.

The ACW’s open call was designed to draw amateur fighters, with the hopes of finding the next best talent across the country. Potential fighters will be given the opportunity to compete in front of some of the most knowledgeable and experienced MMA fighters, trainers and managers; as well as getting instant feedback from those judges as to their present fate in the MMA world!

"The Barbarian Fight Club "Respect" event kicked off at 8pm at the sports complex in Ruther Glen VA. "Respect" featured a full night of fights with 17 fights on the ticket, and one title bout in the 185 lbs weight class. It was refreshing to see alot of new and very young talent on the ticket stepping into the cage for the first time, some of which have great potential and bright futures in the MMA world. The event was action packed evening for a complex full of MMA fans who got a dose of the full spectrum of MMA with submissions, TKO's, decisions, a draw, and even seeing the 185 lbs title change hands in the main event as Bill Bookwalter won the belt in the first 1st round as Justin Ayd gave up his back trying to defend against raining fists as The Manheim Strangler dropped bombs from the full mount, Justin was submitted shortly after by a rear naked choke.
