Once again Operation Octagon is back with a packed card. This card has 6 title fights on it and by title fights, I dont mean a 6-1 guy vs a 0-0 guy. All of these fighters have earned their titles and the opponents have earned the right to be fighting for the belt.
One of the most interesting fights on this card to me is going to be Nichole Hess (MiKiDo MMA) vs Jillian Lybarger (Siege MMA). This is for the Women's Flyweight Title that Nichole currently owns. I have seen Nichole fight a time or two and she is an explosive fighter. This should be close to the fight of the night.
The main event is placing 3X Middleweight Champ Coltan Smith (Vangaurd Gym) against Chad Malone (Capitol Jiu-Jitsu). Both of these guys are listed at 6 foot and both of these guys like to throw heavy hands. In my opinion this should be the fight of the night. Stay tuned to TTC for a pre fight interview with Chad Malone.Jessie Mitchell Jr. is stepping back into the cage to defend his 155lb title against a really up and coming star Kevin Rohrer. I have seen both of these guys fight several times and you probably have a better chance drawing straws for who is going to win this than you do picking a winner. Both of these guys are EXPLOSIVE and fast.
Derek Leyrer is on this card and in my honest opinion there should be a belt or two around his waist! TTC has seen Derek toy with fighters in that weight class making it look way to easy. We actually did a post fight interview with Derek after his dominating victory in Leesburg. This guy has trained with some of the best and it shows.
Alexander Coates is also in town fighting on this 21 fight card. Team Infamous has brought 3 fighters to OO and plans on cleaning up. Team Infamous fighters are no strangers to Operation Octagon ask Migo DeOcampo who pulled off this stunning KO starting the 3rd round.
